SCYP Mission Statement: Youth providing support to our community through grants and service while learning lifelong philanthropic skills and attitudes.
SCYP (Story County Youth Philanthropists) is a board of high school students interested in learning about philanthropy and how it helps our community. Youth are responsible for understanding community needs and granting money to nonprofit organizations that benefit the community in Story County. Youth are given a voice and say in the community while learning about area needs. Youth will learn about philanthropy, gain leadership skills, and be seen as active, responsible citizens of Story County.
